County Clare has a long and proud tradition of playing its part in meeting the nation’s energy needs. As Ireland moves toward a low climate economy, County Clare recognises the need to develop the counties alternative energy resources.
The Clare County Development Board, Clare Enterprise Strategy 2008 – 2011 aims to maximise the development of the alternative energy sector in County Clare. The Limerick Clare Energy Agency is now seeking Research & Development proposals from all interested parties as apart of a pilot project in the area of Alternative Energy.
